  • ctdad: I would let them stay in AZ (or any other state of their choice), if they were to become legal immigrants (tax-paying English-speaking, law-abiding, productive members of society), but first, they needs to have an option to do so.

  • Most Mexicans (and other immigrants) would love to come and work here legally. The only problem is that it is NOT possible at the moment, b/c it takes decades and $$$ to go through the legal process, and their kids are starving NOW.

  • I have no doubt that this law will lead to racial profiling. BTW, none of the driver's licenses that I've had so far (CA, NV, UT, ID and WY) showed my immigration status.

  • Seems to me THAT's how health insurance SHOULD work. You pay into a pool and if you get sick, you're covered. Sure, the base of payers has to be large enough and the insurer can't be out to make a profit! I'm not Christian, but I like the fact that they know where their share goes.
